The Early Days of Digital Exploration
In the late 1990s, as the internet began weaving its way into the fabric of daily life, Jeremy Koski, embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure with "Digital Exposure," a pioneering venture in digital photography. This venture symbolized not only the dawn of a new digital era but also the beginning of a personal and professional journey marked by both innovation and unforeseen challenges.
A Turn of Events
As "Digital Exposure" was gaining momentum, an unexpected twist occurred. Jeremy's brother began to exhibit unusual behavior, which was later diagnosed as Bipolar Disorder, a profound mental health challenge. Many of the dreams that were intricately woven into "Digital Exposure" were indefinitely put on hold, marking a poignant moment of reflection and redirection.
A Personal Diagnosis
The narrative took another turn in 2003, a year that would forever alter Jeremy's path. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis following an incident that left him physically impaired and engulfed in a sea of uncertainty and fear. The diagnosis was initially met with denial, but it became an undeniable reality after a subsequent episode led to optic neuritis, causing permanent vision impairment in his right eye.
A Journey of Discovery and Growth
This series of life-altering events propelled Jeremy on a profound journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and growth. He immersed himself in understanding Multiple Sclerosis, its treatments, and the multifaceted impacts it had on his life. This path was not only about confronting a disease but also about embracing the transformative power of adversity.
Love, Family, and a New Mantra
Amidst these trials, Jeremy discovered love and built a family, experiences that expanded his heart and perspective. He realized that Multiple Sclerosis, while a relentless adversary, was also a catalyst for personal evolution. It forged in him a new mantra – to live each day with a joyous heart and in competition with no one but himself, striving each day to be a better version than the last.
The Birth of 'Focus Through the Fog'
In 2024, after an unexpected change in career direction, and drawing from his rich tapestry of experiences as an IT leader and a life marked by resilience, Jeremy Koski founded "Focus Through the Fog." This initiative is not just a platform but a testament to a journey marked by trials, triumphs, and the transformative power of the human spirit. "Focus Through the Fog" stands as a beacon of hope, understanding, and advocacy for those navigating the complexities of serious illnesses, embodying the belief that within every challenge lies the opportunity for growth and the emergence of a better self.

We are more than a team; we are a community dedicated to bringing light into the fog that often surrounds serious illnesses, offering hope and guidance to those on similar journeys.
A Creed For Those Who Have Suffered
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey ...
I asked for health, that I might do great things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things ...
I asked for riches, that I might be happy.
I was given poverty, that I might be wise ...
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God ...
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things ...
I got nothing I asked for—but everything I had hoped for. Almost despite
myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among men, most richly blessed.”
